bulletThe cover story "Adult ADD" for U.S. News and World Report, April 26 2004, featured a quoted from Dr. Goodman on the issue of co-existing psychiatric disorders accompanying ADD.  This is a excellent article for those concerned about this condition.
bulletDr. Goodman was a featured guest on ESPN's Cold Pizza morning show on February 18, 2004. He and Scott Erye, the San Francisco Giant pitcher with ADHD, were interviewed live to discuss the positive benefit of Scott's treatment for ADHD.
bulletIn an article on adult ADHD in BusinessWeek magazine, Oct 27, 2003, Dr. Goodman is again quoted for his recognized expertise in this area.  His remarks on adult ADHD are also quoted in Health magazine, October 2003.
bulletDr. Goodman's Op-Ed article on adult ADHD was published in the Lexington Herald-Leader newspaper (October 11, 2003) and the Roanoke Times (October 1, 2003) 
bulletScott Erye, the San Francisco Giant pitcher, has ADHD and was profiled in the Washington Post on Oct 4 2003. Dr. Goodman provided background information to the author and was quoted.
bulletResponding to an editorial on ADHD in the Wall Street Journal, Dr. Goodman had his letter to the editor published in The Wall Street Journal on July 31, 2003.  He highlighted the growing and substantial medical research, neurological evidence and benefit of effective treatment, much of which was misrepresented in the original editorial.
bulletIn April 2003, Dr. Goodman was interviewed live on WBFF-TV (FOX-Baltimore, MD) with a mother and daughter who have ADHD and are treated with the same medication. The mother, an interior designer and patient of Dr. Goodman, reported a 70% increase in her business in 4 months after starting ADHD medication.
bulletThe Baltimore Sun ran an article February 23, 2003 on adult ADHD and coaching.  Dr. Goodman was quoted on the benefits of coaches and organizational techniques.
bulletDr. Goodman's psychiatric commentary about Oakland's football center, Barrett Robins and his diagnosed Bipolar Disorder was featured in two live TV interviews on ESPN Sports Center (6:10pm) and ESPN News Center (6:20pm) on January 28, 2003.  His interview was aired the next day on ESPN radio.
bulletDr. Goodman was quoted in The Union Leader (New Hampshire) Sunday, August 11, 2002 in two articles on insurance companies' denial of stimulant medications for adult patients requiring more than typical pediatric doses.
bulletDr. Goodman was quoted in American Medical News, March 18, 2002 on ADHD in adults.
bulletDr. Goodman has appeared on WMAR-TV (ABC-Baltimore, MD) February 25, 2002 at 6:10 am in a live interview on "Adult ADHD".  On March 1, 2002, he appeared on WBFF-TV (FOX-Baltimore, MD) at 6:50 am in a live interview on "Adult ADHD".  On March 4, 2002, he was interviewed on WEAA-FM at 8:30 am on "Adult ADHD".
bulletAn article on adult ADHD was published in the USA Weekend Magazine, a supplement to Sunday newspapers around the United States, on July 15, 2001.  Dr. David W. Goodman helped develop several questions for the readers to distinguish ADHD in adults. This publication has a circulation of 47 million readers.  On July 16, 2001, Dr. Goodman was the featured guest on the USA Today website for an online chat to answer questions that readers might have concerning issues raised in the article. 
bulletDr. Goodman was interviewed and quoted in an article on the controversy of adult ADHD for the New York Daily News, article published April 16, 2001.
bulletDr. David W. Goodman has been the featured guest on four PBS programs focused on Major Depression, Panic Disorder and Premenstrual Syndrome/Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder.  These programs are distributed to national affiliate stations in major metropolitan cities around the United States.
bulletDr. David W. Goodman and a successfully treated ADHD adult patient spent 2 days in New York City (April 30-May 1, 2001) doing over 25 live and taped radio interviews around the country on the diagnosis, education and treatment of adult ADHD.
bulletDr. David W. Goodman has been quoted in Glamour magazine for an article on Ritalin abuse by non-ADHD people in the June 2001 edition.  
bulletDr. David W. Goodman published an article on psychiatric medications in pregnancy/breast feeding in Addvance Magazine, November issue 2000.
bulletDr Andrew G. Feinberg wrote an article on adult ADHD in Attention Magazine, Spring issue 2000, published by National CHADD (Children and Adolescence with Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder Association)
bulletDr. Goodman was quoted in Self Magazine, "Could you get hooked on this pill?", June 2000.   The article discussed the growing concern for Ritalin use by those women without ADHD.
bulletDr. David W. Goodman, recognized for his expertise in adult ADHD, has quoted in U.S. News and World Report, "Not just kid stuff anymore" February 21, 2000, pages 48-49. Article reviewed adult presentation of learning disorders and ADHD.

bulletCurrently, all scheduled presentations are being presented to physicians and mental health professions. We will continue to provide listings of presentations available to the general public. We remain very active in our educational pursuit to inform the public and clinicians.  Our psychiatric expertise is sought by TV, radio and print media.
