In addition, he has sat on Advisory Boards for several pharmaceutical companies.

bulletOn several occasions, his psychiatric commentary has been featured live on national and regional television news programs across the country.  Dr. David W. Goodman and Thomas Apple, the creator of the Nasdaq video wall in Times Square, spent 2 days in New York City (April 30-May 1, 2001) doing over 25 live and taped radio interviews around the country on the diagnosis, education and treatment of adult ADHD.
bulletHe has been the guest on four PBS programs on Major Depression, Panic Disorder and Premenstrual Syndrome (PMS).  These programs were distributed to national affiliate stations.
bulletDr. Goodman's commentary on adult ADHD was quoted in national and regional magazines and newspapers including U.S. News and World Report, Wall Street Journal, Washington Post, BusinessWeek magazine.
bulletOn July 16,2001, Dr. Goodman was the featured guest on USA Today web site live chat on adult ADHD.
bulletIn 1987, he was awarded the Mayor's Citation by Mayor Kurt Smoke, Baltimore, Maryland for community service.
bulletHe sat on the Professional Advisory Board of Baltimore County Children and Adults with Attention Deficit Disorder Association, a chapter of the national association (CHADD) for two years.   He has been a contributor to their quarterly newsletter, Hypertalk published by Baltimore County CHADD chapter.
bulletHe sits on the Professional Advisory Board of Depression and Related Affective Disorder Association (DRADA), an educational and support organization for mood disorder patients and family members coordinated by the Department of Psychiatry at The Johns Hopkins Hospital. Dr. Goodman is a contributor and a medical editor for the DRADA quarterly newsletter, Smooth Sailing.
bulletAs a researcher, he has been chosen to be a  Principal Investigator in national multi-site Phase II and  III  clinical drug trials for adult Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder and Major Depression.  Our Center is the only site in Maryland to have conducted research with some of these investigational agents.

bulletHer diverse experience was cultivated in several settings which included Montgomery County Department of Social Services, Maryland Children's and Family Services and Johns Hopkins Hospital, Department of Psychiatry.
bulletMs. Goodman worked at The Johns Hopkins Hospital from 1981 to 1986.  Having worked for three years on the adult in-patient unit, she was promoted to supervising senior social worker in Pediatrics and Child Psychiatry for three years at The Johns Hopkins Hospital.
bulletHaving maintained a private practice for over twenty five years, she is currently on staff at the Adult Attention Deficit Disorder Center of Maryland and Suburban Psychiatric Associates, LLC. She has focused her practice on issues related to adult Attention Deficit Disorder, mood disorders, Panic Disorder and women's issues related to these disorders. Her psychotherapeutic approaches include individual, couples, and family psychotherapies.

Lisa Cuneo is our office manager and administrative research coordinator.  Lisa Cuneo will continue to help patients with scheduling, billing and related questions. We are proud that our office staff treat patients with prompt, courteous attention.
